Seasons of Change

Seasons of Change

Over the coming months we will be launching a number of resources produced by women at All Saints to help encourage the whole church family. Initially we will be focusing on the theme of change - growing through God's faithfulness in every chapter.

Stephanie's Story  (July 2023)

We're grateful to Stephanie Tuddenham that she has shared some of the ways God has been helping her adjust to a big change in her health. She hopes that others who face change in their health and capacity will be encouraged, and that all of us will be reminded to stand faithfully by those who may be out of sight due to long term illness.

Beckie, Sandra and Luci  (February 2023)

It’s a joy when our church family grows as new people join us. We love the sense of vibrancy and excitement. But have you ever stopped to think what a big change it is for those people coming along? Bekie, Sandra and Luci are all new to our church family over the last two years. They represent different stages of life and have different challenges as they seek to integrate. I asked them questions to draw out their experiences, wisdom and longings. Do read and be encouraged. But also, be challenged and pray that our church family will be a place of warm welcome where people are drawn to the core of our family life around Jesus.

Diane's Story  (May 2022)

Carol's Story  (April 2022)

Carol is married to Robin, and they have three grown up boys. Having recently retired from a teaching career, she’s been reflecting on the changes she’s experienced and the things God has been teaching her.

Patsy's Story  (March 2022)

Chrissy's Story  (February 2022)

Chrissy is married to Mark and they have two children, Ethan and Seth. She is a part time teaching assistant and has been coming to All Saints for eight years. Chrissy shares with us here how God has helped her through the experience of losing both her parents in a short space of time.

Women Together

Women Together is our umbrella group bringing together women of all ages and stages from across All Saints Church.

Meeting about 5 times throughout the year, our events are a great opportunity for more conversation than we often have time for in church life. We get to know new people, build relationships and benefit from mutual  support and encouragement. Some events are great to invite our non-Christian friends in the community to. Others are aimed at deepening our relationship with Jesus through testimony and talks.

Our events will be publicised in All Saints News and on the All Saints Facebook page. Also see below for coming events. The Women Together Committee comprises: Becky Cornwell, Antonia Easley (Chair), Sarah Newnham and Carol Taylor.

Upcoming Events

Small group for women

This is a group for younger women, who struggle to get to an evening Connect Group meeting, on Monday mornings in the Tiger Lounge between 9.30am and 11am, term time only. Following the same themes as the rest of the church Connect Groups, this is an opportunity for close fellowship and nurturing in faith with other women at similar stages of life. We don't currently have a creche alongside this group.

Titus Women

Named after Titus Chapter 2, where women who are more mature in their faith are encouraged to nurture those who are younger in their faith, this is our initiative to offer one to one mentoring relationship to women who would value this. We endeavour to find someone who will spend regular time with you, praying, reading the Bible or a Christian book and encouraging you in your walk with God. This is always an investment that results in mutual growth and blessings.

Pastoral Care

If you would value time to talk about things in confidence, that you feel unable to bring to a member of clergy, a group leader or a close friend, do make contact with Antonia Easley (antonia.easley@lindfield.info). She is happy to meet in the capacity of listening, coming alongside, spiritual support and prayer.

Advent Event, November 2020

The Women Together team would like to make the main elements of our reflections on Mary available to you for your personal devotional time this Advent. We based our session on Luke 1:26-38 and 46-55. Below you will find a video of reflections and links to two reflective songs and questions to think about. If you're part of a Titus women mentoring relationship, or in a small prayer group why not use it together.

Who we are

All Saints is an anglican church with a strong evangelical tradition serving the parish of Lindfield in the Diocese of Chichester in West Sussex.

Although we are a local church, we are also committed to supporting God's work further afield - through the Sussex Gospel Partnership and through our many mission partners who are involved in mission work in this country and across the world.

Hugh LeadingOur aim is to be a welcoming Christian community, embodying as well as proclaiming the gospel of God.
Our belief as a church is grounded in the teaching of the Bible, the inspired Word of God. We joyfully acknowledge Jesus as our Saviour and try to follow him day-to-day as our Lord. We are not a perfect church, but we are trying, by God's grace, to grow in faith, hope and love each day. Our aim, therefore, is to be a disciple-making church, building up and growing mature followers of Christ who will be his witnesses in the world.
